Dr. Lisa Haddad, MD, MS, MPH completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Brigham and Women’s/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston then moved to Emory where she completed her Master’s in Public Health and a fellowship in Family Planning. After her fellowship, she continued on as faculty at Emory in the Department of OB/GYN, in the division of family planning. She has developed a clinical and research focus centered on contraception and reproductive health in high-risk populations, specifically among women living with HIV. Other areas of interest include prevention of sexually transmitted infections, fertility, HIV prevention methods, adolescent reproductive health, and optimization of safe and accessible reproductive health care delivery both in global and domestic settings. Dr. Haddad has published over 100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences and has authored several books and book chapters related to women’s reproductive health.
